ALDO HEO (Jong-Hoon Heo)
He participates in a lot of International Competitions. In 2004 he wins the 1st Prize in four different Competitions in Korea, Sungjeon National Music Competition, Hanseo Music Competition, Youngok Shin Music Competition, KBS Seoul New Artist Music Competition (Gold medal). In 2006 he was a finalist Concurso Manuel Ausensi in Barcelona and the 3rd Prize in Logroño at Concurso Internacional de Canto de Logroño. In 2007 wins a 2nd Prize of the Competition, the best Verdi’s singer and the best Zarzuela’s singer. Also wins the special prize from the public at Concurso Francisco Viñas in Barcelona. In 2008 wins the 1st Prize at Ciudad de LLeida’s Competition. In 2009 wins the 1st Prize in Concurso Internacional de Canto de Logroño.
He was invited to take part in the masterclass and the final concert organized with Montserrat Caballé in the frame of the Concurso Internacional de Canto Montserrat Caballé.
In September 2001 he made his stage debut in Le Nozze di Figaro (Conte). From that moment on, he made a turning point which passed by interpreting titles like Così fan tutte (Guilielmo), Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Figaro), L'Elisir D'amore (Belcore), Lucia di Lammermoor (Enrico), Don Pasquale (Malatesta), La Traviata (Germont), Cantata BWV80 – Bach Solo Appearance with KBS Symphony Orchestra (National broadcast), Carmen (Escamillo/Morales), La Bohème (Marcello) in the Teatro Filarmonico di Verona, I Pagliacci (Silvio/Tonio), Cavalleria Rusticana (Alfio). He has made a lot of recitals and concerts around Spain, Central Europe and Korea.
At this moment he is doing the “Curso Perfeccionamiento Plácido Domingo – Palau de les Arts” , recently he debuted the role of Taddeo in L’italiana in Algeri, and then the role of Haly in the same opera with the direction of Mr.Zedda. At this moment he are working in Palau de les Arts in some operas as Manon or Ievgueni Onegin.
